General Description Spirulina Pacifica® is a dried and non-viable product of the common blue-green algae, Arthrospira platensis (formerly referred to as Spirulina platensis). This species is classified as follows:

General Description Spirulina Pacifica™ All Natural Hawaiian Spirulina tablets are made from the dried biomass of the blue green algae, Arthrospira platensis (formerly referred to as Spirulina platensis). This species is classified as follows:

Manufacturing Tablets are cold-pressed and manufactured in accordance with NPA-Good Manufacturing Practices, and in accordance with local and State of Hawaii regulations. Silica (1%), chicory inulin (0.4%), and magnesium stearate (0.1%) are used as tableting aids. Cyanotech holds a current Food Establishment Permit issued by the State of Hawaii and operates under an ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System.
Regullatory Status Spirulina Pacifica™ is certified to be free from pesticides. The material is certified Kosher according to the guidelines of Organized Kashrus Laboratories. Spirulina Pacifica™ is a natural non-GMO blue-green algae product.
